Arsenal Football Club unveiled their 2015\/16 PUMA away kit at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre in Singapore on Tuesday. In the yellow and dark blue often favored by The Gunners, the new strip will be worn for the first time when the team meets a Singapore Select XI at the country’s National Stadium on July 15th.<\/p>\n

The jersey will be available in replica and authentic versions at\u00a0World<\/a> Soccer Shop<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>Subside Sports<\/a>, UK Soccer Shop<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Kitbag<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0along with the defending FA Cup champions’ 15\/16 PUMA home kit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0live event against Singapore\u2019s stunning night skyline saw Asian Arsenal fans in the audience sing\u00a0iconic club\u00a0songs. The presentation began with an electrical energy sweeping\u00a0the stage powering an intricate projection that transformed a 5 metre high 3D torso into the away shirt.<\/p>\n

As the projection finished, Arsenal\u2019s first team players Mikel Arteta, H\u00e9ctor Beller\u00edn, Olivier Giroud, Santi Cazorla, Mathieu Flamini, Mesut \u00d6zil Petr \u010cech, Wojciech Szcz\u0119sny, Jack Wilshere and Gabriel wearing the full kit were introduced to the fans.<\/p>\n

Olivier Giroud, Arsenal\u2019s star striker and PUMA player said: \u201cThe event was great tonight, I was really happy to meet some of our fans from Singapore and around Asia. \u00a0It\u2019s really inspiring to see how passionate and supportive our fans are here, the atmosphere tonight was electric and it was a brilliant experience. I really like our new away kit.\u00a0<\/em>The gold colour is very striking and has been associated with some great Arsenal teams in the past. I\u2019m looking forward to playing in it for the first time against the Singapore national team tomorrow night.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta, Arsenal\u2019s first team captain and PUMA player said: \u201cWe arrived in Singapore on Monday and from the moment we touched down the fans here have been fantastic. Hearing them chant for us and feeling the amazing atmosphere from the crowd was great, it definitely motivates us to perform at our best here. I really enjoyed the event and the opportunity to show off our new away kit. It\u2019s a great looking shirt and I like the design which is quite different to the more traditional home shirt.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The PUMA 2015\/16 Arsenal away shirt is a combination of both Arsenal and PUMA\u2019s heritage, with a design that reinterprets a classic PUMA Football graphic combined with an Art Deco \u2018A\u2019 which is inspired by Arsenal\u2019s past.<\/p>\n

The main body is a deep rich gold, an evolution of Arsenal\u2019s traditional away yellow tones and it features a diamond graphic that repeats across the front and back panels. The design of the shirt has similarities with this season\u2019s home shirt, which include PUMA\u2019s classic Form Strip as a mesh panel on the shoulders and the dropped back panel. The neck is crew shaped with a v shaped insert and final design details include gold trimmed sleeves and underarm mesh inserts for breathability.<\/p>\n
