The three-time African champions return to the American brand after 12 years with adidas.<!--more--> The Super Eagles enjoyed much success on the pitch wearing Nike kits from 1996\u00a0to 2003. During this period they made it to the Round of 16 of the 1998 FIFA World Cup and won the men&#8217;s soccer gold medal at the 1996 Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>According to Nike: Nike and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) form a new partnership in which Nike, the world\u2019s leading football brand, is designing and developing football kits for the men\u2019s and women\u2019s Nigeria national football teams from April 1, 2015, until at least 2018.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_70190\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-70190\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nigeria-2002-nike-kit.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-70190 size-large lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-src=\"http:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nigeria-2002-nike-kit-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"Nigeria's 2002 FIFA World Cup Nike Primary Kit\" width=\"620\" height=\"412\" data-sizes=\"auto\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nigeria-2002-nike-kit-1024x680.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nigeria-2002-nike-kit-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nigeria-2002-nike-kit-700x465.jpg 700w, https:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/nigeria-2002-nike-kit.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-70190\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nigeria&#8217;s 2002 FIFA World Cup Nike Primary Kit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Nike is designing performance and training apparel, and equipment, including team kits and footballs, for Nigerian national football team players at every level of the game. There will be an exclusive-edition team kit for all NFF teams until the 2016-17 kit launches in mid-2016. In addition, Nike will design an assortment of products for Nigerians to show their support for the national team, to be available from mid-2016.<\/p>\n<p>The Nigeria under-20 men\u2019s team will be the first to don the new Nike kit at the under-20 football tournament to be hosted in New Zealand from May 31.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership includes the following elements: supplying performance and training kits to all nine of the Nigeria Football Federation teams at every level, including the men\u2019s and women\u2019s senior teams, men\u2019s and women\u2019s under-20 teams, men\u2019s and women\u2019s under-17 teams, men\u2019s and women\u2019s Olympic teams, and the men\u2019s beach football team.<\/p>\n<p>Nigeria joins Nike\u2019s set of federation sponsorships including Australia, Brasil, England, <a href=\"http:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/2015\/03\/22\/france-201516-nike-away-kit\/\">France<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/2015\/03\/19\/netherlands-201516-nike-away-kit\/\">the Netherlands<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/2015\/03\/20\/norway-201516-nike-home-and-away-kits\/\">Norway<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/2015\/03\/19\/portugal-201516-nike-away-kit\/\">Portugal<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/2014\/12\/03\/south-africa-2015-nike-home-and-away-kits\/\">South Africa<\/a>, South Korea, <a href=\"http:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/2015\/03\/19\/portugal-201516-nike-away-kit\/\">the USA<\/a>,\u00a0and others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/store.yahoo.com\/cgi-bin\/clink?yhst-7223899490465+efY79q+index.html\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-src=\"http:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/epl-wss-600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" class=\"lazyload\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-comments\" data-href=\"http:\/\/footballfashion.org\/wordpress\/2015\/04\/23\/nigeria-to-wear-nike-kits-until-2018\/\" data-num-posts=\"20\" data-width=\"500\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nigeria&#8217;s national football teams will wear Nike kits from this year until 2018.
