Club captain and starting striker since 2008 Marcos Tavares was the face of the NK Maribor 2014\/15 kit launch campaign. The one-time Brazil Under-23 player has notched 87 goals and counting in over 200 appearances for Vijoli\u010dasti (The Purples).<\/p>\n NK Maribor are pooled with Chelsea FC, Schalke 04 and Sporting Portugal in Group G of the Champions League.
