<\/a><\/p>\nAvailable soon at Kitbag<\/a>, Subside Sports <\/a><\/strong>and World Soccer Shop<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>along with the Bhoys’ already launched 14\/15 away shirt<\/a>, the new shirt makes its on the pitch debut during Sunday’s pre-season meeting with Rapid Wien. It was modeled by players\u00a0Scott Brown, Anthony Stokes, Kris Commons, Virgil van Dijk and Beram Kayal for its unveiling at Austria’s\u00a0Bad Leonfelden.<\/p>\n Celtic played in a white shirt for their first ever game in May 1888, and now this new third shirt pays homage to the club\u2019s founders with a nod to the past, but with a fresh and new look for the future.<\/p>\n The shirt boasts a green, white and gold chest band, a modern interpretation of the Irish tricolor, to celebrate the club\u2019s origins, having been founded in 1887 by Irish Marist priest Brother Walfrid.<\/p>\n The shirt also features a constructed V-neck collar with a gold band inside the neck, and green cuffs on the sleeves.<\/p>\n Inside the back of the neck is a green and white pennant tab reflecting Celtic\u2019s famous hoops from their home shirt with the proud statement: “A club like no other.”<\/p>\n The new third shorts are white with a thin green stripe along each side, while the socks are white with a green band at the top, and a wide tonal stripe of chevrons on the back.<\/p>\n Celtic skipper, Scott Brown said: \u201cI think it’s brilliant. It’s a really nice kit and is a good fit as well. The strip is very bright and something a bit different.
