Longtime technical sponsor Marathon Sports and the Federaci\u00f3n Ecuatoriana de F\u00fatbol officially launched the Ecuador 2014 FIFA World Cup home and away kits in Quito on Friday night. Both are now available at\u00a0Kitbag<\/strong><\/a>, Subside Sports<\/strong><\/a>, World Soccer Shop<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Tienda F\u00fatbol Mundial<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

El Tri’s (the Tricolor’s) jerseys for this summer’s tournament in Brazil were unveiled using the theme “\u2018M\u00e1s que el sol contemplamos lucir” (We think that we can shine more than the sun) with modeling from national team players\u00a0Gabriel Achilier, \u00d3scar Bag\u00fc\u00ed, Fernando Gaibor and Jorge Guagua.<\/p>\n

The Ecuador 2014\/15 Marathon home shirt is in the team’s famous yellow with blue on its shoulders, underarms and sleeve cuffs. The away kit reverses the color scheme. The home jersey uses a red neck insert while the away shirt uses one in white.<\/p>\n

Team captain\u00a0Antonio Valencia and the rest of the Ecuador team are expected to wear their World Cup away uniform on March 5th in a friendly with the usually yellow-clad Australia in London.<\/p>\n
