Since the early days of Christopher Cook and Harold Hurst, Admiral has been a pioneer in British sportswear. We\u2019re proud of being the leading light in football kit design and delighted that today; our followers still want to wear the iconic Admiral jerseys of the past.<\/p>\n
Admiral were the first to copyright designs, add manufacturer and club logos, create branded outerwear, offer an “away” kit and the first to use material that made kits lighter and drier, today we call this Vapor-draw. The company developed kits with stripes, collars and cuffs. Where Admiral led, the World\u2019s other brands followed.<\/p>\n Born in Wigston, Leicester in 1914, the Admiral brand has been worn by many sporting teams and legends including; the national football teams of England, Belgium and Wales and international club sides; Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds United and in North America The New York Cosmos, Tampa Bay Rowdies and Vancouver Whitecaps.
