<\/a><\/p>\nCatalonia is affiliated with neither FIFA or UEFA and team does not participate in the FIFA World Cup or the European Championship. However, Catalan players such as Carles Puyol, Xavi, V\u00edctor Vald\u00e9s and Cesc Fabregas\u00a0are mainstays of the Spanish national team. The Catalan national team is currently coached by FC Barcelona and Dutch legend Johan Cruyff.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday Catalunya 2012\/13 home kit was presented to the press at the Museu Colet in Barcelona. The outfield play and goalkeeper kits were models by Catalan futsal and youth players\u00a0Pau Morer (CF Damm), Cl\u00c3\u00a0udia Spada (Escola F. Bonaire), Manuel Mart\u00edn (CE Sabadell), Joanna Vega (Levante Las Planas), Pol Pacheco (FC Barcelona) and Lluc Parera (Marfil Santa Coloma).<\/p>\n The shirt features an artistic motif in the colors of La Senyera\u00a0(the Catalan flag) inspired by the dragon slain by Saint George (Sant Jordi) from its front to back.<\/p>\n Catalunya doesn’t currently have any matches scheduled this year. However, a friendly may be in the works for late December during the Spanish La Liga winter break.
