Now in third place in the 2012 Campeonato Brasileiro S\u00e9rie A, Gremio (full name Gr\u00eamio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense) is seeking its first Brazilian championship since 1996.<\/p>\n

Following, the releases of the Gremio 2012 Topper home and away kits<\/a>\u00a0 in April\u00a0and a third kit<\/a> in August, the Tricolor has launched a pair of special edition 2012 Topper jerseys called the “Camisas Castelhanas” (Castilian Shirts) in recognition of the contribution of Argentine and Uruguayan players to the club.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Gremio Topper 2012 Camisas Castelhanas are based on the famed striped sky blue and white of the Argentina national football team’s home jersey and the all sky blue Uruguay home kit.<\/p>\n

\"Gremio<\/a><\/p>\n

Some of the well-known players from Argentina and Uruguay who have represented Gremio include Leonardo Astrada, Sebasti\u00e1n Abreu, Maxi L\u00f3pez and Walter Corbo. The club has also had one Argentine and three Uruguayan managers in its 109 year history.<\/p>\n

Fellow Campeonato Brasileiro S\u00e9rie A club S\u00e3o Paulo FC also recently launched a new kit<\/a> in tribute to several of its Uruguayan players.<\/p>\n
