Widely regarded as the greatest club team of recent times, Spanish La Liga powerhouse FC Barcelona has officially unveiled its Nike 2012\/13 home and away kits. Both kits will be available at the World Soccer Shop<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0FC Barcelona store.<\/p>\n

According to Nike: Barcelona’s new home and away kits fuse together club tradition with a modern and creative expression to give the team an exciting new look for the 2012\u201413 season. Combining performance innovation with low environmental impact each kit (shirt and shorts) is made using up to thirteen recycled plastic water bottles.<\/p>\n

\nHome:<\/strong>
\nBarcelona\u2019s new home kit sees the famous blue and red stripes fused together to give the shirt a bold new look.<\/p>\n

For years the club has taken the best of its homegrown talent (the cantera) and fused those young stars with the world\u2019s finest players, giving the team a mixture of youthfulness, tradition and creativity – all qualities that inspire the new kit.<\/p>\n

The red crew neck collar gives the shirt a classic but modern feel, whilst the graphic on the outer neck is the Catalan Senyera flag. The inner neck reads, \u2018M\u00c9s Que Un Club\u2019 (More than a club). The blue on the shirt is a darker blue than seasons gone by. And the font used on the Kit is inspired by Catalan architecture.<\/p>\n

The blue shorts have a red stripe on the side and \u2018Barca\u2019 on the back waistband. The blue socks have Bar\u00e7a in yellow in the same font as the shirt. The socks also offer a new and innovative design featuring an updated cotton footbed offering additional support and comfort.<\/p>\n

Away:<\/strong>
\nThe new away kit is an explosion of bright colour to celebrate the club\u2019s effervescent style of play.<\/p>\n

The new shirt fuses orange into yellow on the body paying homage to the city\u2019s mixture of culture, art, style and architecture. The shirt has a classic orange crew neck ribbed collar with the famous Blaugrana detail on the back of the neck and orange sleeves.<\/p>\n

The outer back detail on the shirt is Catalan\u2019s Senyera flag, whilst the inner neck graphic reads, \u2018M\u00e9s que un club\u2019 (More than a club). The font used on the kit is inspired by Catalan architecture.<\/p>\n

The yellow shorts have the Blaugrana detail along the side seam and \u2018Barca\u2019 on the back of the waistband. The yellow socks also have the Blaugrana detail on the top and the \u2018Barca\u2019 detail on the back.<\/p>\n
