Hull City and kit manufacturer OXEN Sports have released the club’s third kit for the 2026\/27 season, which the Tigers will wear during their Premier League, EFL Cup and FA Cup campaign. The design draws on the 1935\/36 home kit, the season Hull City first switched to blue and white to match the civic colors of Kingston upon Hull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That 1935\/36 shirt also marked a first for the club: the Three Civic Crowns, taken from the city’s coat of arms, were embroidered on a Hull City shirt for the first time, arranged vertically within a blue shield. The crest stayed on the shirt until after the Second World War, when it was replaced by the club’s first Tiger logo in 1947. Almost 80 years later, the Three Civic Crowns return to the front of a Hull City shirt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Produced in collaboration with Hull City Council, the Hull City 2026\/27 third kit places the gold crowns at its centre, reflecting the city’s heritage and its long-standing relationship with the club. A gold OXEN Sports logo sits alongside them on the front of the shirt. The mainly blue design is set off by white collars and sleeves with fine blue and gold trim, while two blue buttons mark it out from the club’s home and away kits. On the back, a gold Tiger crest appears beneath the collar, above the Premier League lettering and squad number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “City Speaks” theme carried across Hull City’s 2026\/27 kits continues on the third shirt, with a line from a poem by Hull-born poet Shane Rhodes printed inside the back neck: “Before the three coronets were stamped, we punched our gold with H for Hull.” Like the crest on the front, the line links the shirt to the city’s history and to the club’s sense of connection with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
