Thirty-eight-time Portuguese Primeira Liga champions, SL Benfica, have unveiled their home kit for the upcoming 2024\/25 domestic and UEFA Champions League seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n

The new jersey pays homage to the club’s rich history by incorporatinga classic football shirt V-neck. Inspired by the home kit worn during the 1974\/75 season, when Benfica won a Primeira Liga title, the design evokes a sense of nostalgia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

adidas and SL Benfica have delved into the roots of the club’s legacy to develop a jersey featuring a distinctive white V-neckline and a graphic that replicates the V throughout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shirt showcases a vibrant pattern in shades of red, adorned with tonal V shapes on its front. The new adidas logo is embroidered on the right side of the chest, while the iconic SL Benfica emblem, adorned with three stars representing every ten championships won by the club, is placed on the left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benfica’s women’s football team will sport a bespoke version of the 24\/25 jersey. It features a special logo on the inside of the collar, marking the 50th anniversary of International Women’s Day. This gesture serves as a tribute to the decisive role and invaluable contribution of women in promoting and developing women’s sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
