Orlando City Soccer Club has released its 2024\/25 adidas away jersey – \u2018The Legacy Kit\u2019, a community-themed shirt honoring the club’s history. The design is inspired by the alternate uniform of the club’s USL Pro championship season of 2011, when it wore red over the now-iconic purple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Legacy Kit features several significant changes. For the first time, the body of the kit will be predominantly lavender. Furthermore, the Club collaborated with MLS and adidas to update the Three Lions crest, which was the team’s emblem from 2011 to 2014. The crest now has metallic gold filigree and a bolder design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Orlando City SC 2024\/25 adidas away jersey also features the phrase “Honor Thy History” inside the collar, a theme for this year’s 10th-anniversary celebration. At the bottom, the jock tag displays a purple and gold “X” representing the Roman Numeral for 10 and acknowledging the Club’s 10th season in Major League Soccer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orlando City Chief Marketing Officer Pedro Araujo commented: “We are so proud to introduce a kit that we know our fans will love, one that pays tribute to everyone that has supported and led us to reach our 10th season in MLS. The Legacy Kit is designed to recognize just that \u2013 the path that has led us here today and the legacy of our early days as a professional soccer franchise in the City Beautiful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
