The 2023\/24 Manchester City home kit, launched by PUMA today, marks the 20th anniversary of the club’s move to the Etihad Stadium. The jersey features elements that honor the stadium’s iconic design and the shirt worn in the first season at the new home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manchester City left Maine Road, their home for 80 years, and moved to the Etihad Stadium in August 2003. This began a new era of success, records, and legends for the club. The Premier League and European powerhouse\u2019s 2023\/24 home shirt celebrates this legacy and the Etihad Stadium’s connection to the fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Manchester City 23\/24 PUMA home jersey has a front graphic inspired by the four giant turrets that are visible from outside the stadium and form tonal stripes on the jersey. The stadium’s postcode is displayed on the back of the neck to commemorate 20 years at the new home. The jersey also has a white V-neck collar that is inspired by the 2003\/04 Home shirt, the first one used at the Etihad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shaun Wright-Phillips, who played for Manchester City in the 2003\/04 season, said: “The Etihad Stadium is an important part of Manchester City’s history.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Players and fans will hold special memories of moments shared there, so it\u2019s fantastic that PUMA has taken inspiration from it for this year\u2019s home kit.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
