The Liverpool Football Club Nike home kit for the 2023\/24 season was officially launched today. It is a tribute to the legendary Bill Shankly’s final season as the Reds manager 50 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LFC 23\/24 home jersey is a classic Liverpool red with white details on the collar and sleeves, inspired by the 1973-74 team that won the FA Cup under Shankly’s guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest Liverpool FC primary shirt also features the 97 emblem with the eternal flames at the back of the neck, in honor of the victims of the Hillsborough tragedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 1973-74 season was Shankly’s last one in charge of Liverpool, after 14 years of transforming the club into a powerhouse of English and European football. He led a team that included stars like Ian Callaghan, Kevin Keegan and Ray Clemence to FA Cup glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Liverpool 2023\/24 Nike home kit will be worn for the first time by the men’s team in their final home game of the season against Aston Villa on May 20, which will also be the last game at Anfield before the completion of the Anfield Road Stand expansion, which will add 7,000 more seats to the stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
