Well-supported Major League Soccer club Portland Timbers have released their adidas home jersey for their 2023 and 2024 seasons. It will be worn for the first time in match action during the former MLS Cup champions\u2019 season opener against Sporting Kansas City next Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Timbers: The Timbers \u201cPortland Plaid\u201d kit features ponderosa, shadow green, and gold coming together in a plaid clad jersey to reflect the tight-knit relationship between the club and the community. In the club\u2019s 16th jersey, Portland Plaid symbolizes kinship \u2013 we\u2019re all cut from the same cloth and no matter where we come from, united in our love for the Timbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The club\u2019s first-ever plaid jersey features gold trim detailing at the sleeve cuffs and collar, as well as adidas\u2019 classic three stripes at the shoulder to bring the look back to the pitch. On the inside of the collar, a two-person crosscut saw\u2014a symbol of teamwork\u2014embraces the Timbers name. The jock tag showcases one of the club\u2019s longest standing traditions \u2013 slices of the victory log, surrounded by the words \u201cFor the Rose City\u201d and \u201cPortland Timbers\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
