Athletic Club presented its New Balance 2023\/23 away kit for the team\u2019s upcoming Spanish LaLiga and Copa del Rey seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n

Athletic Club say that the magnet gray shirt is inspired by the strength of Los Leones (The Lions). Hence the graphic red and black lion print across the front of the kit.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Athletic Club 22\/23 alternate jersey uses a new rounded neck design from New Balance Football. Silver trim accentuates the collar while the Basque Country flag, the Ikurri\u00f1a is printed on the nape. The shirt\u2019s sleeves and back are black.<\/p>\n\n\n

Red shorts and socks complete the Athletic Club 2022\/23 New Balance away uniform.
Athletic Club center-back I\u00f1igo Mart\u00ednez insisted he would \u201cwear the strip with pride\u201d, saying the kit represents the entire Athletic family.<\/p>\n\n\n

Mart\u00ednez said: \u201cI really like the new design because it shows what it means to be part of the Athletic Club family. It\u2019s hard to put into words what it means to play for this team, but I\u2019ll wear this new shirt with pride next season, as will the rest of the team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
