New Balance has unveiled Athletic Club\u2019s new home kit for the 2022\/23 Spanish LaLiga and Copa del Rey seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n

The beauty of tradition is the inspiration behind the latest design, with the Basque club\u2019s famous racing red and white stripes amplified through delicate kit details and the Ikurrina flag on the back of the neck.
The Athletic Club 22\/23 home shirt also adds a raised neck collar and cuff sleeves in black, whilst matching knitted shorts and socks complete the look. The goalkeeper kit is in traditional black and has been developed in line with the outfield players\u2019 jerseys.<\/p>\n\n\n

Star Striker Inaki Williams said: \u201cThe new jersey is great, it\u2019s a classic design which celebrates our great history. It means a lot to the people here to see us proudly wear the red and white of Athletic Club, so I am certain the fans will love the design as much as we do\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum, added: \u201cThere are no other clubs in the world with the tradition and philosophy of Athletic Club. This year\u2019s design is heavily influenced by that legacy and begins a strong collection for the Club\u2019s 22\/23 season.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

The release is part of New Balance\u2019s \u2018Born, Bred, Basque\u201d campaign for Athletic Club, in celebration of Los Leones\u2019 connection to family, philosophy, and culture. The creative is guided by international photographer, Justin Bettman, who worked alongside the brand to help showcase the connection between the new design, the club, and its ties to the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
