New York City Football Club (NYCFC) today unveiled its 2022-2023 away kit, \u2018The Volt Kit,\u2019 inspired by the Club\u2019s fans that power the Club throughout each game and the entire season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To launch the new adidas kit design, NYCFC has spotlighted members from the Club\u2019s two official Supporters Groups, The Third Rail and Los Templados, alongside members of the First Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kit is inspired by the fans\u2019 energy, the rumbling and clatter of the city\u2019s trains during rush hour and the booming of drums and fan noise in the stands. The design\u2019s primary color is orange and features a navy-blue lightning bolt, representing the electric atmosphere the fans create at matches and their role as the primary source of passion and energy for the Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NYCFC First Team players Malte Amundsen, H\u00e9ber, Anton Tinnerholm and Alfredo Morales are also featured in the launch of \u2018The Volt Kit.\u2019 Malte, H\u00e9ber and Anton are International Players for the First Team, while Alfredo was born in Germany, he represents the United States on the international level and has earned 16 caps for the USMNT. Together, these players represent the diversity of New Yorkers and NYCFC fans \u2013 people from all over the world brought together through their love of the world’s game and New York City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NYCFC Midfielder, Alfredo Morales, commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m honored to unveil our new kit, especially one that is strongly connected to our fans who are the best fans in the league. I know our fans have wanted an orange kit for many years, and it\u2019s even more special they finally have one with a star on it for our MLS Cup win last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
