UEFA will have a new partner \u2013 Italian kit suppliers Erre\u00e0 \u2013 for its Kit Assistance Scheme for Europe\u2019s national associations for the period between 2022 and 2026. Nations currently benefitting from the program include <\/span>Andorra<\/a>, Belarus<\/a>, Cyprus<\/a>, Faroe Islands<\/a>, Liechtenstein<\/a>, Luxembourg<\/a> and San Marino<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership\nwill ensure that all of UEFA\u2019s national associations who join the Kit\nAssistance Scheme will have access to customised training wear and matchday\nclothing for their senior and Under-21 national teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Erre\u00e0 Sport were\nchosen through a tender process which emphasised criteria such as price,\nquality, range, kit personalisation, logistics and merchandising opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company are one of the world\u2019s most\ninnovative teamwear manufacturers, and are currently working with over 300\nclubs and associations around the world and across a wide variety of sporting\ndisciplines. Erre\u00e0 has also obtained  the\nOeko-Tex Standard 100 certification on all articles, and has earned plaudits\nfor research and development activities in relation to new fabric such as the\nrecently presented antiviral and antibacteric fabric Ti-Energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Associations who\ntake advantage of UEFA\u2019s Kit Assistance Scheme will be fully involved in the\nkit design process with Erre\u00e0. The partnership will be based on\nsupplying national team kits to associations that are not only of the highest\nstandards in terms of design, quality and comfort, but which also reflect\nnational identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UEFA\u2019s Kit Assistance Scheme has been in\noperation since 2007, and is run under the auspices of UEFA\u2019s Top Executive Programme\n(TEP). It has a special relevance as part of UEFA\u2019s fervent support of\nnational-team football. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

National teams are a crucial source of a\ncountry\u2019s national identity, and they unite fans from throughout a country in\nsupport of the team.

In particular, the partnership between UEFA and Erre\u00e0 will benefit smaller and medium-sized national associations without sufficient bargaining power when negotiating with kit suppliers. Based on actual need and voluntary participation, these associations will get the kits and other training wear for their senior and U-21 teams free of charge from UEFA..
