Sports company PUMA has released the 2020\/21 home and away jerseys for defending South African Premier Division champions Mamelodi Sundowns, with the words \u201c50 Years\u201d below the redesigned team logo, which marks an important milestone.<\/p>\n

The kit is in refreshed colours of yellow, green and blue, true to the colours of the Brazil national team from which Mamelodi Sundowns earned their nickname: The Brazilians. The nickname extends far beyond shared colours, as Masandawana play with an African-flavoured Samba style inspired by their South American brothers.<\/p>\n

The players shirt is a slim fit cut with a Johnny-collar reminiscent of 1970s style playing jerseys (to symbolically link the jersey to the era in which the Club was established) and is made from 100% recycled polyester. It has venting on the front and the word Sundowns printed on the back of the collar as a special treatment for the players. The replica shirt for fans is a regular fit and has a Mamelodi Sundowns applique badge with the 50 Years wording and an embroidered PUMA logo.<\/p>\n
