Honoring the 120th Anniversary of FC Bayern Munich this year, adidas today released a new jersey for 2020 that represents a modern interpretation of one of the most significant jerseys from the club\u2019s illustrious history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create it, the adidas design team studied the jersey worn during its first ever German Championship (Bundesliga) winning season in 1932, identifying what made it so iconic, and what could be adapted for the 2020 release. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combining design principles and motifs from the two different eras, the 2020 edition represents the history and future of one of the most iconic clubs in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FC Bayern M\u00fcnchen 120th Anniversary adidas jersey unveiled today features a striking burgundy collar and sleeve set against a crystal-white base for impact on pitch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inclusion of off-white badge detailing and muted branding ensures the design retains the minimalist aesthetic of its predecessor. A subtle \u2019120 JAHRE\u2019 detail, translated as \u2018120 YEARS\u2019, on the shirt\u2019s inside collar rounds of the sleek look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
