Former FIFA Club World Cup winners Sport Club Internacional have launched their 2019\/20 home and away kits from Nike Brasil. Both celebrate the fortieth anniversary of Inter’s 1979\u00a0Brasileiro S\u00e9rie A (the last of their three).<\/p>\n

The Internacional 2019\/20 Nike home kit is predominantly red with white details on its sleeves and v-neck collar to emulate the team’s 1979 primary jersey.<\/p>\n

The shirt carries a commemorative shield of the 1979 campaign with the club’s initials, “SC”, thinner than usual. There are also three stars and a laurel above the crest in recognition of Inter’s S\u00e9rie A titles of 1975, 1976 and 1979.<\/p>\n

“To honor that team is a source of great pride and to keep a feat that has never been achieved alive is more than well deserved. We are sure that the fans of Inter will really like the new uniform,” says Gustavo Viana, director of brand for football at Nike Brazil.<\/p>\n

The SC Internacional 2019\/20 away kit uses the same new Nike design as the home jersey. It is mainly white with a red sash on its front. A thin red line runs just below the bottom of the sash. The colors of the\u00a0Rio Grande do Sul state flag appear on the middle of the shirt’s rear collar.<\/p>\n
