As part of the jersey reveal event, FC St. Pauli participated in a joint training session with the organization Soccer Without Borders at The UA House at Fayette operated by Living Classrooms. Soccer Without Borders has been breaking down barriers since 2006 by giving kids and teens from the most diverse countries and cultures the opportunity to make new friends, have fun exercising and understand the importance of team building through the game of soccer.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are delighted to be given the chance to visit our long-time partner Under Armour in the United States. The purpose of the tour is to give the FC St. Pauli players the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the philosophies of their equipment supplier, Under Armour. During their visit to Baltimore, the players got a behind-the-scenes tour of the headquarters, UA Lighthouse, a center for manufacturing and design innovation. Next on their tour, FC St. Pauli will head to Detroit where they will visit the Under Armour Brand House and play a soccer game against Detroit FC (May 19). Following Detroit, the team will head to Portland where they will visit Under Armour\u2019s Performance Campus. Here, like other teams and athletes before them, FC St. Pauli will be able to benefit from the brand\u2019s latest innovations in athlete recovery and sports science.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is another important step for us to continue to make this partnership a vivacious and spirited collaboration,\u201d said, Philipp Walter, Marketing Manager at Under Armour. \u201cHosting FC St. Pauli in Baltimore is not only an honor, but also a sign of the vitality of this partnership and its steady development over the years. Weighing just over 3.5 ounces, they are especially lightweight and come with the quick-drying Under Armour Signature Moisture Transport System. This four-way stretch material is incorporated into the jerseys and provides greater mobility and rapid drying.
