Villarreal CF has unveiled its full kit collection for the 2026/27 season, with the home, away and third shirts all debuted during the club’s summer preseason. The three jerseys will accompany the Yellow Submarine through a demanding campaign that includes LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League.
Each design carries a distinct identity, ranging from a water-inspired home shirt to a nostalgic away kit and a summer-themed third jersey, giving supporters several ways to follow the club through its 2026/27 fixtures.
Villarreal’s 2026/27 Joma home shirt keeps yellow as its base color but introduces a jacquard weave built around a water motif, using the pattern to suggest continuous movement across the fabric. Front and back panels use contrasting textures, adding a layered look rather than a flat, one-tone finish. The clearest change from previous releases is a blue stripe that runs unbroken from the shirt into the shorts, tying the two garments together visually for the first time in this design.
The VCF 26/27 away kit shifts toward a pearl grey base across the torso, paired with cerulean blue sleeves and small yellow accents. The design draws on the away shirts Villarreal wore during the 2003/04 and 2004/05 seasons, two campaigns regarded as pivotal in the club’s European history. In that period, Villarreal reached its first European semi-final, in the UEFA Cup, and finished third in LaLiga, a result that sent the club into the Champions League for the first time.
The squads from those seasons included players such as Marcos Senna, Juan Román Riquelme and Diego Forlán. The new away shirt references that era directly, connecting the current squad’s Champions League campaign with the seasons that first delivered it.
The Villarreal 2026/27 Joma third kit was developed in collaboration with Joma under the slogan “Fill your summer with colour.” Its design draws inspiration from a product associated with one of Villarreal’s official sponsors, translated into a shirt built around bright, saturated tones suited to warm-weather fixtures. Unlike the home and away releases, the third kit is not tied to a specific historical reference, instead functioning as a standalone summer design within the 2026/27 collection.
