Manchester United have released their 2026/27 adidas third kit, a design inspired by the youth culture, community institutions and creative spirit that have shaped generations across Greater Manchester. The ivory-coloured jersey, which the club’s men’s, women’s and Academy teams will wear this season, features the devil crest positioned centrally on the chest.

It is United’s second alternate kit for the 2026/27 Premier League, EFL Cup, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League campaign, and it debuted during the club’s preseason match against AC Milan on Saturday.

Built on an ivory base, the jersey draws on Manchester’s cultural identity, combining heritage references with modern construction. Rather than centering on a single motif, the design reflects the communities that continue to shape everyday life across the city, running that influence through the shirt as a whole.

A bespoke floral graphic wraps across the shirt, made up of hand-drawn rose illustrations engineered directly into the fabric. The pattern takes inspiration from artwork found in community spaces and cultural institutions throughout Manchester, including Salford Lads and Girls Club, adding subtle depth to the jersey and giving it a visual identity distinct from previous United third kits.

Color detailing extends the same references. Rich maroon appears across the crest, collar and sleeve trims, drawing on the red-brick architecture found throughout many of Manchester’s historic buildings. Contrasting green accents feature on the three stripes, referencing the green doors seen across the city, including those at Salford Lads and Girls Club, the same institution behind the shirt’s floral pattern.

The Manchester United 2026/27 adidas third jersey is finished with a streamlined crew-neck collar, giving it a clean, contemporary silhouette. The back neck carries a bespoke ‘Manchester United Football Club’ sign-off, a subtle nod to the club’s identity and heritage. Together, the elements tie the 2026/27 third kit to the neighbourhoods and institutions that have long featured in United’s story, giving supporters a jersey built around the city’s own visual language rather than a standalone design concept.
