Crystal Palace Football Club has officially unveiled its updated primary uniform for the upcoming season, giving supporters a definitive look at the Crystal Palace Football Club 2026/27 jersey.

Developed by technical partner Macron, the latest uniform reinterprets a historic aesthetic that ranks among the most identifiable shirt designs in the team’s history—the signature sash. Initially appearing in 1976, the feature returns five decades later, providing a contemporary update to a traditional South London football staple.

The Crystal Palace squad will wear the new uniform throughout their active 2026/27 campaign, which spans multiple domestic and continental competitions. The team is prepared to utilize this strip during fixtures in the Premier League, EFL Cup, FA Cup, and the UEFA Europa League. The full uniform made its debut during Friday’s pre-season win over Swindon.

This specific diagonal pattern originally gained widespread recognition during the team’s progression to the 1976 FA Cup semi-finals. Following that cup tournament performance, it was formally integrated as the organization’s primary home uniform for the first time during the 1976/77 campaign. Over the subsequent fifty years, the look has endured as a highly regarded component of the club’s background and historical narrative.

Complementing the diagonal stripe, the Crystal Palace 2026/27 Macron home jersey integrates a vintage-style emblem. The visual design revisits the circular club crest that was originally utilized from 1973 until 1987. Within the club’s lore, the diagonal band acts as a continuous theme linking different eras of the team’s past, serving as an emblem of collective identity, historical continuity, and endurance through various institutional transitions.
The Eagles 2026/27 home shirt is accompanied by coordinated white shorts that feature a red and blue trim along the side panels. To finish the functional uniform, the players will wear mostly white socks detailed with red and blue hoops.
