Nike and FC Barcelona have officially revealed the team’s home kit for the upcoming season. The FC Barcelona 2026/27 jersey reintroduces a traditional look with modern architectural inspirations, preparing the club for its domestic and continental fixtures.
The FC Barcelona 2026/27 Nike home kit design centers around the classic blaugrana stripes, utilizing a distinct three-color combination. It pairs a deep, intense dark blue with a brighter blue accent and a rich garnet red to deliver a final look defined by contrast and depth.
The specific color tones selected for these stripes draw direct inspiration from the architectural panels on the façade of the renewed Spotify Camp Nou stadium, anchoring the apparel to the club’s updated home grounds.
In addition to the base design, a completely new custom typography has been developed for the player names and numbers. The font takes its stylistic cues from Catalan modernism, integrating stylized shapes, vertical proportions, and organic details.
To add visual depth, the numbers feature distinct inner lines, reinterpreting the traditional artisanal spirit of the artistic movement through a contemporary lens. The design intends to symbolize the individual players alongside the broader culture, city, and design traditions of Barcelona and Catalonia.
The utilization of this new proprietary typeface varies depending on the specific competition. The men’s and women’s first teams will sport the custom modernist lettering during matches in the UEFA Champions League, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup. Conversely, when competing within Spanish LaLiga fixtures, the team will continue to adhere to the standardized official league typeface rather than the club’s custom creation.
Fans will see the FC Barcelona 2026/27 Nike home uniform on the pitch ahead of the official tournament schedules. The jersey is set to debut during the club’s preseason matches, which will take place from late July to early August.
