Chelsea 2026/27 Jersey: Nike Home Kit Design and Release Details

Chelsea Football Club has officially unveiled its new home kit for the upcoming 2026/27 football season. Manufactured by Nike, the uniform will be worn throughout the club’s domestic campaigns, including the English Premier League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup.

Football fans will get their first look at the kit in action when it is debuted during Chelsea’s preseason tour of Asia and Australia from July to August. The primary focal point of the Chelsea 2026/27 home jersey is the club crest, which has been refreshed following a consultation process with supporters.

The updated emblem is interwoven directly into the fabric on the front of the shirt using a ‘Bright Blue’ hue. Structurally, the jersey features a classic collar paired with a button-down neck. A distinctive two-tone blue pattern runs across the fabric of the Chelsea 26/27 home shirt.

‘Midwest Gold’ accents have been selected for the Nike swoosh and the rampant lion badge, and these specific color highlights feature on both the jersey and the shorts. Additionally, a laurel wreath motif circles the central crest on the front. The design choices carry through to the lower half of the uniform.

The shorts incorporate the matching ‘Midwest Gold’ elements for the branding and club symbols. Chelsea’s 2026/27 home strip is completed by white socks, which prominently feature the same laurel wreath motif seen on the shirt.

This 2026/27 campaign represents the 75th season since Ted Drake became Chelsea manager and altered the club’s identity by replacing the Pensioners nickname with the Blues and introducing the lion symbol. Reflecting this history, the club’s launch features the lion symbol globally, displaying claw marks alongside the phrase “Can’t Tame Us” on walls, projections, and beach murals.
