FC Barcelona’s 2025 – 2026 Nike home kit will carry a distinctly contemporary cultural imprint when the club takes to the pitch for their Spanish LaLiga El Clásico campaign.

For the high-profile Clásico fixture scheduled for May 10, the Spotify branding space on the front of the blaugrana shirt will feature the name of Olivia Rodrigo, the multi-Grammy-winning artist who has established herself as one of the most widely followed pop musicians of her generation.

The placement is part of the ongoing partnership between FC Barcelona and Spotify, which has previously used the shirt’s front-of-chest branding to spotlight artists from the streaming platform’s catalog.

Rodrigo represents a notable milestone within that arrangement — she will become the youngest artist to appear on the Barcelona shirt under the Spotify deal. The singer currently draws over 50 million monthly listeners on the platform and has nine tracks in Spotify’s Billions Club, a threshold reserved for songs that have surpassed one billion streams.

The Clásico appearance  comes at a strategically significant moment for Rodrigo. Her third studio album, titled You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, is scheduled for release on June 12, placing the El Clásico fixture just weeks ahead of that launch. The Barcelona shirt, worn during one of the most watched club football matches in the world, provides a global-scale visibility moment ahead of the release.

Before the men’s side wears the Rodrigo branding at the Clásico against Real Madrid, FC Barcelona’s women’s team will be the first to debut the updated kit logo. That appearance is set for May 6 in a Liga F fixture against Levante UD, giving the women’s side the distinction of introducing the collaboration to the public.

The 2026 Nike home kit itself serves as the canvas for what has become a recurring feature of Barcelona’s commercial identity — using the Spotify partnership to bridge football and music culture.
