Macron have officially launched the new Albania 2026/27 jerseys, to be worn during the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers and, if qualification is achieved, the tournament itself. The kits debut in the play-offs against Poland on 26 March in Warsaw, marking the beginning of another chapter in Albania’s pursuit of a first-ever World Cup appearance under coach Sylvinho.
The Albania 2026/27 Macron home kit stays faithful to tradition with a red base complemented by black details. It features a crew neck and knitted sleeve cuffs, with a sublimated pattern of tone-on-tone wavy lines across the front and back. The design subtly forms an image of the double-headed eagle, the country’s national symbol.
Both the Albanian Football Association (FSHF) crest and Macron Hero appear in black silicone on the chest, while the backneck panel bears the embroidered word “SHQIPËRI.” Inside, a label reading “Designed in Bologna” highlights Macron’s design origins, accompanied by a red-on-red internal graphic inspired by the shirt’s main motif.
Adding to the symbolism, the internal hem tape bears the phrase “Ti Shqipëri, më jep nder” (“Albania, you give me honor”) alongside the eagle emblem. Albania’s 2026/27 away jersey mirrors the home version’s pattern but switches to an off-white base accented with red elements on the neck, cuffs, and lower trim. The red Macron Hero and FSHF crest provide clear contrast, while the wavy eagle-inspired design remains a unifying feature of the collection. Matching off-white shorts and socks with red accents complete the set, maintaining continuity while offering a lighter, alternative look for away fixtures during the 2026/27 season.
Rounding out the collection, the Albanian 2026/27 Macron third kit takes on a refined black aesthetic with understated red detailing on the cuffs. The standout feature is its debossed all-over graphic of circular lily motifs, a tribute to Albania’s cultural heritage and the symbolism of honor represented in Skanderbeg’s historic heraldry. Paired with black shorts and socks, this version offers a modern yet meaningful interpretation of national identity through minimalist design.
