Denmark 2026/28 hummel Home Kit

Denmark’s new hummel home kit has been unveiled, continuing the red and white tradition that has long defined the national team’s visual identity for supporters and players alike. Designed to be worn by the men’s national side for a two–year cycle, the shirt will also serve as the team’s kit for the 2026 to 2028 national team season.

The launch aligns with the ongoing pattern of hummel and the Danish FA (DBU) introducing a fresh national team design every two years, maintaining continuity while updating the look for upcoming matches.

The Denmark 2026/28 hummel home jersey is rooted in a classic red base and incorporates tonal stripes that add depth while subtly referencing previous national team shirts. Both the DBU crest and the hummel logo are positioned centrally on the chest, emphasizing a straightforward, symmetrical layout. Inside the neck, the Danish flag appears as a simple but clear reminder of who the jersey is worn for, reinforcing its national character without additional embellishment.

This flag detail also connects directly to the “Roligan” supporter movement, which emerged around the 1986 World Cup in Mexico and helped turn the Danish flag into an international symbol of community, celebration, and fair play. By integrating this reference, the design links the current squad to a broader fan culture that has followed the team through major tournaments. The overall approach aims to reflect both historical milestones and the ongoing relationship between players and supporters.

According to hummel CEO Lars Stentebjerg, the 26/28 home jersey is intended to tell the story of Danish football while looking ahead, and to be something that can be worn with pride in both victory and defeat. DBU Director of Football Peter Møller describes the shirt as a symbol of what the national team stands for, highlighting that when players step onto the pitch in these colors, they carry the ambitions of the country with them. These perspectives emphasize continuity between the team on the field and the wider public that follows them.

The Demark 2026/28 home jersey will debut in the World Cup playoff match at Parken against North Macedonia and is set to remain in use for the Danish Men’s National Team over the next two years, including their 2026 to 2028 national team campaign. An away kit will be presented ahead of the playoff fixture scheduled to be played in either the Czech Republic or Ireland, while goalkeeper jerseys in yellow, green, and dark grey are already available.
