Vancouver Whitecaps 2026 adidas Away Jersey

Vancouver Whitecaps FC have unveiled their 2026 adidas away kit, known as the “Coastal Jersey,” ahead of the new Major League Soccer season. The launch took place with participation from representatives who embody the spirit of British Columbia’s coast.

Members from the Vancouver Aquarium, xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation) joined the reveal, celebrating the connection between the club and the region’s coastal identity. BC Ferries also played a role, inviting fans from across coastal communities to take part in the presentation.

The 2026 Vancouver Whitecaps jersey will make its on-field debut on Saturday, February 21, when the reigning Western Conference champions face Real Salt Lake at BC Place to open their MLS campaign. Designed by adidas, the Coastal Jersey draws inspiration from Vancouver’s natural landscape — the meeting of ocean and mountains that defines the city and its surroundings.

A deep-sea navy base forms the foundation of the new Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2026 away shirt, representing the Pacific Ocean that borders the province. The rising peak pattern that accents the collar and cuffs offers a subtle yet recognizable nod to the mountains that frame the skyline. The overall design visually expresses the story of a club that stands between two powerful elements — earth and water — and continues to rise season after season within Major League Soccer.

The unveiling also highlighted the club’s commitment to acknowledging the lands on which it plays. Whitecaps FC live, work, and compete on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations.

The Coastal Jersey presentation reinforced these ongoing relationships, paying respect to the Coast Salish peoples and the cultural heritage that connects Vancouver’s football community to the Pacific Northwest.
