Umbro has unveiled the Guatemala 2026 home and away jerseys, themed “Vuelo Eterno” (Eternal Flight), for use by the national team at the ongoing 2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers.
The designs reference the Resplendent Quetzal, Guatemala’s national bird, as a symbol of freedom, independence, and Mayan heritage, while also introducing the Federación de Fútbol de Guatemala’s new crest and a “GUATEMALA” sign-off on the upper back of each shirt. The phrase “Vuelo Eterno” appears as an internal or collar detail, reinforcing the collection’s overarching concept of continuous flight and national identity.
The white Guatemala 2026 Umbro home jersey features a white base with the country’s traditional diagonal sash running from the left shoulder to the right hem in light blue with a subtle white segment and fine gold trim. The fabric uses a jacquard pattern described as alluding to the feathers of the Quetzal, adding texture across the front panel.
The black Guatemala 2026 Umbro away shirt reverses the visual emphasis, using a dark base accented by the same light blue and white diagonal sash edged in gold. This bicolor band is said to incorporate a pattern inspired by the steps of Tikal, referencing one of Guatemala’s most famous Mayan archaeological sites.
The new crest is rendered in a metallic-style tone on the chest, creating contrast against the black background and aligning visually with the gold trim of the sash. A necktape detail incorporates colors associated with the Quetzal, linking back to the collection’s main inspiration.
