Reigning J1 League Kashima Antlers and Nike have unveiled the club’s 2026 home kit, presenting a design rooted in tradition while symbolizing a new era for one of Japan’s most decorated football teams.
The Kashima Antlers 2026 Nike home shirt’s foundation is a deep tone known as “Kashima Nada Dark Navy,” described as a color that captures “the silence of waiting for dawn.” Within this subdued base, the club’s characteristic “deep red” appears as horizontal stripes, representing “the first ray of light rising from the horizon.” The combination of these colors conveys the Antlers’ determination to lead into a new chapter with focus and strength.
Deep red detailing extends to the collar and cuffs, creating a unified design that blends formality with a sense of vigor. This color balance reinforces the Antlers’ traditional image while introducing a refreshed visual identity.
Gray side panels connect the shirt to the matching shorts, forming a sharp contrast that adds motion and energy to the overall silhouette. According to the design concept, these panels “embody the club’s attitude of constantly moving forward” and give the kit a sleek, modern edge.
While the color palette is contemporary, it continues to reflect the spirit and heritage of Kashima Antlers. Inside the back of the neck is the inscription of three Portuguese words long associated with the club: “TRABALHO,” “LEALDADE,” and “RESPEITO.” These translate to “Work,” “Loyalty,” and “Respect,” symbolizing the Antlers’ enduring philosophy that unites players, staff, and supporters alike. The placement of this motto within the new kit underscores its enduring importance in the team’s identity.
The Kashima Antlers Nike 2026 home jersey also includes several symbolic elements honoring the side’s achievements. A special champion star, marking the Antlers’ 21st title secured in 2025, is featured on the left sleeve, signifying their most recent J1 League triumph. Two additional stars positioned above the club crest represent the first 20 league and cup victories in Kashima’s history.
