Macron has unveiled the Equatorial Guinea home and away kits for the Africa Cup of Nations 2025. The Nzalang Nacional, as the national team is known, will debut these uniforms when they begin their tournament campaign on December 24 in Casablanca against Burkina Faso.

This marks the country’s fifth appearance in the AFCON final phase, with the team drawn into Group E alongside Algeria, Burkina Faso, and Sudan.
The Equatorial Guinea AFCON 2025 home kit features a distinctive design centered on lightning bolt imagery, directly referencing the team’s Nzalang nickname. Repeated lightning strikes create vertical stripes in two different shades of red, establishing a bold visual identity for the squad. This design choice connects the uniform to the team’s established branding while offering a modern aesthetic for the continental tournament.
The Equatorial Guinea AFCON 2025 away kit takes a predominantly white approach with subtle design elements drawn from Equatorial Guinea’s national coat of arms. The jersey incorporates a tone-on-tone pattern alternating between two symbolic images: the cotton tree, locally known as the “tree of God,” and a six-pointed star. The star represents the unity of the mainland with the five islands comprising the nation’s territory, embedding national symbolism into the kit’s design.
Following their opening match against Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea will face Sudan on December 28, also in Casablanca, before concluding their group stage fixtures against Algeria on December 31 in Rabat. The team will wear these Macron-designed kits throughout the group stage as they compete for advancement in the tournament.
