Wrexham AFC has officially released its 2025/26 home kit, produced in partnership with Macron, following the recent extension of their multi-year agreement. The unveiling comes as the club prepares for its EFL Championship campaign, marking a significant milestone after achieving a third consecutive promotion. The new Wrexham jersey will be worn throughout the 2025/26 EFL Championship, EFL Cup, and FA Cup seasons.
The design of the 2025/26 home shirt draws inspiration from the kits worn by Wrexham between 1981 and 1983, reflecting the club’s heritage. The shirt features Wrexham’s traditional red, enhanced by a refined pinstripe effect created with jacquard fabric for a tailored look. The polo-style collar and sleeve cuffs are accented with white and red, offering a modern interpretation of a classic style.
Central to the 25/26 shirt is the Wrexham AFC crest, positioned prominently, with the Macron Hero logo embroidered in white on the right chest. Inside the collar, a label reads “WREXHAM IS THE NAME,” alongside the Macron logo and the phrase “Designed in Bologna,” emphasizing the Italian origins of the kit’s design and development at the Macron Campus.
A notable detail on the Wrexham 2025/26 Macron home kit is a tribute to the region’s mining history. The lower left hem features a tonal print of the Gresford Colliery Memorial and the number 266, commemorating the miners who died in the 1934 disaster. Additionally, a bespoke internal tape inside the hem reads “HISTORY ONLY TELLS A STORY,” referencing the club’s anthem, and is interspersed with illustrations of the Welsh dragon.
Completing the new Wrexham AFC home kit, are white shorts with red drawstrings or red shorts with white drawstrings. The red socks feature a white turnover with two fine horizontal red stripes and a white band around the ankle, finished with a red Macron Hero logo.
