The design draws heavily from iconic Wolves kits of the past, particularly the bold styles that defined the 1970s era. This homage is evident in the kit’s striking V-collar, a feature that echoes classic Wolves strips worn by club legends. The choice to revisit this era is deliberate, acknowledging a period revered by fans and closely associated with memorable moments in the club’s history.

A unique aspect of the 2025/26 home shirt is its connection to the historical roots of Molineux Stadium. Before it became the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers, the site was known as the Molineux Pleasure Grounds—a public park renowned for its ornamental terraces, balloon ascents, concerts, and exhibitions.

This rich history is subtly referenced in the kit through a debossed print that highlights the symmetry and intricate detail of the Pleasure Grounds, providing a visual nod to the club’s deep local heritage.
