Reigning German Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal champions Bayer 04 Leverkusen, have unveiled their away and third kits for the 2024/25 season. Designed by British sportswear brand Castore, the new jerseys will be worn during the club’s domestic campaigns and UEFA Champions League matches.
The Bayer 04 Leverkusen 2024/25 away kit features a white base with a distinctive grey zigzag stripe pattern running vertically across the shirt. Copper accents add a touch of sophistication, with the Bayer 04 emblem and embroidered Castore logo appearing in this hue on the chest.
The player names and numbers on the back are also rendered in a shimmering copper tone. “Werkself,” the team’s nickname, is incorporated into the neckline in copper lettering. Main sponsor Barmenia’s logo is displayed in black on the chest, while the golden Bundesliga champions right sleeve print serves as a reminder of the club’s recent triumph.
For the club’s 24/25 third jersey, Bayer 04 Leverkusenand Castore have opted for a bold black design that pays homage to the city’s industrial heritage.
The jersey incorporates various elements of Leverkusen’s “Farbenstadt” (City of Colors) identity, referencing the town’s history of dye and chemical production in the 19th century. These motifs appear in a graffiti-style pattern across the shirt, creating a modern and urban aesthetic.
Contrasting with the black base, the third shirt utilizes cyan blue for its accent color. This vibrant hue is used for the Bayer 04 crest on the left chest, the embroidered Castore logo on the right, and the Barmenia sponsor text. The “Werkself” nickname print also appears on the collar in cyan, tying the design elements together.
