Sunderland 2024/25 hummel Home Kit

hummel and Sunderland AFC have unveiled the club’s 2024/25 home kit, rekindling their iconic alliance that began in 1988. This new kit symbolizes their shared history and bright future on Wearside.

The 24/25 home jersey pays homage to Sunderland’s heritage with its iconic red and white stripes. This year’s design celebrates the city’s shipbuilding roots, featuring all-over stripes inspired by the club’s crest, shipyards, and vessels. The phrase “From the banks of the River Wear” elegantly scripted on the inside collar, encapsulates the spirit of the city.

Symbolically anchoring the shirt to Sunderland’s modern era, the Stadium of Light’s coordinates are subtly placed on the outer back neck, bridging connections with its illustrious past.

Throughout their partnership, Sunderland and hummel have shared numerous milestones, including a rise to the First Division in the late ’80s and an unforgettable 1992 FA Cup run. Between 1988 and 1994, hummel designed kits that perfectly captured the era’s essence and became iconic symbols of the club’s history.
