Bayer 04 Leverkusen 2024 Special Edition Kit

In a move celebrating the city’s deep sporting roots, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, currently atop the German Bundesliga table, have unveiled a unique 2024 special edition kit from technical partners Castore. The bold design pays tribute to Leverkusen’s status as a hub for athletic excellence.

The dark blue jersey features a striking town map graphic, with the iconic Bayer AG logo integrated into the pattern’s center. The instantly Bayer 04 Leverkusen crest takes its customary position on the left chest.

But the designers didn’t stop there. The left sleeve bears not only Castore’s kit supplier logo but also the Bayer Sports Family insignia – a nod to the club’s commitment to nurturing talent across multiple disciplines.

Perhaps the most eye-catching detail is the “Werkself” nickname prominently emblazoned across the rear outer neckline in crisp white lettering, a rallying cry for the team’s passionate supporters.  

This commemorative jersey will make its on-field debut when Leverkusen host Mainz 05 this Friday in a Bundesliga clash billed as “Bayer Sports Family Matchday” – giving the Werkself a chance to showcase their civic pride to an international audience.
