Perennial German Bundesliga champion FC Bayern München and adidas have teamed up once again to design a special edition Oktoberfest kit for the 2023 season.
The green jersey, like the FC Bayern 2023/24 Champions League kit, has a mountain flower pattern on its front and sleeves. The green color also reflects the nickname of the Oktoberfest, which is ‘Wiesn’ or ‘field’.
The shirt has an edelweiss flower and the words ‘Wiesn 2023’ on the inside of the neck, and the name and number on the back are in off-white.
FC Bayern’s men’s team wore the 2023 Oktoberfest adidas jersey for the first time in their home game against Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena on Friday. The FC Bayern Munich women’s team also sported the shirt in their first league game away at Freiburg on Friday.
