Athletic Club 2023/24 Castore Home and Away Kits
Athletic Club and new technical partner Castore have unveiled the Spanish LaLiga team’s home and away kits for the 2023/24 league and Copa del Rey seasons.
The 23/24 home jersey is a tribute to the glorious history and tradition of Athletic Club de Bilbao, which celebrates its 125th anniversary this year. The red and white stripes, the club crest, and the exclusive details from Castore.
The Ikurriña (Basque flag) on the back of the neck also features a special logo to commemorate this milestone. The shirt has a stylish V-neck collar with red and black accents on the cuffs. The kit is completed by black shorts and black socks with red and white stripes at the top.
Athletic Club’s 2023/24 Castore away kit is a stunning sky-blue color that represents the sky above San Mames, the legendary stadium where the team plays its home games.
The jersey also has a dynamic graphic that pays homage to the lions of San Mames, the nickname of our players who always fight with courage and spirit. The graphic is inspired by the legend of Saint Mammes, who was thrown to the lions by the Romans but managed to tame them and walk away unharmed.
The club’s pitch was built next to a chapel dedicated to the saint, which gave the stadium its name. The away kit features a sleek V-neck collar and contrasting sleeve cuffs. It is paired with blue shorts and blue socks.
Athletic Club begin their 2023/24 LaLiga season against Real Madrid on August 12, 2023.
