Burnley Football Club has unveiled their new home kit for the 2023/24 Premier League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup seasons, designed by Umbro. The jersey is inspired by the Burnley 1994 home shirt, which marked a memorable year for the club as they secured promotion to the second tier of English football with a dramatic play-off win over Stockport County. The new shirt pays homage to the past while looking ahead to the future, as the Clarets return to the top flight with ambition and confidence.
The Burnley 23/24 home shirt features a claret body with blue sleeves, a jacquard front panel and a dropped back hem. The collar and cuffs are flat knit, and the side seam has an official licensed label. The club crest is woven applique on the chest, and the word “Clarets” is printed on the back of the neck. The kit is made of lightweight and breathable fabric, with moisture-wicking technology to keep players cool and dry.
Burnley FC’s 2023/24 home shorts are blue with a claret rib and a white panel at the hem. They have an elasticated waistband with an internal drawcord and gusset for comfort and flexibility. The shorts also feature an embroidered stacked diamond logo and a woven applique crest on the front.
The home socks are claret with a blue hoop around the calf. They have left and right cotton footbeds, with instep cool technology to regulate temperature and prevent blisters. The socks also have jacquard club wording and stacked diamond detail on the front.
The 2023/24 home kit is a celebration of Burnley FC’s history and identity, as well as a statement of their aspirations and potential. The kit will be worn by both the men’s and women’s teams, as part of the club’s One Club for All ethos.
