Real Sociedad, after a successful Spanish LaLiga season and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League group stages, is looking ahead to the future. The San Sebastian-based club has unveiled its new Macron home shirt for the 2023/24 season. It will make its debut during Sunday’s LaLiga closing round match against UEFA Europa League champions Sevilla.
The Real Sociedad 2023/24 Macron home jersey respects the club’s Basque tradition and identity while featuring innovative graphics and stylistic solutions.
Real Sociedad’s 23/24 home shirt features distinctive blue vertical stripes on a white background, with a polo collar and navy-blue sleeve cuffs. Its vertical stripes have a shaded graphic design that creates a slight 3D effect intended to reproduce sculptures. The inside of the neck is customized with the club logo, the Macron logo, and the words “Designed in Bologna.” This highlights the fact that each garment is conceived, designed, and developed at Macron’s headquarters in Bologna, Italy.
Real Sociedad’s 2023/24 home kit’s inside collar also features a tape with the words “WE ARE REAL” repeated and interspersed with the Macron logo. The Macron Hero logo is on the right side of the chest in white, while the Real Sociedad crest is on the left side. The Basque flag, the Ikurrina, is on the back of the neck in silicone. The accompanying shorts are white with a navy-blue drawstring. The socks are white with a blue top border featuring two horizontal white and blue stripes. In the middle, there is a wide blue band with a narrower blue band. The Macron Hero logo is at ankle height, while the RS acronym is on the calf.
The jersey has a slim fit and is made from 100% recycled Macron Eco Softlock fabric. Its back panel is made from Eco Micromesh, and the Eco Mesh inserts ensure the garment is lightweight and breathable.
