Joma Sport and the Federația Română de Fotbal have unveiled the Romania home, away and third kits for the 2023/2024 international football season. The new jerseys feature a unique design that pays tribute to the country’s history and culture, as well as its passion for soccer.
The Romania 23/24 Joma home kit is predominantly yellow, with blue and red accents on the sleeve cuffs. The most striking element of the shirt is a diagonal band on each side of the waist that features the five symbols that represent Romania: the gold aquila (eagle), the aurochs (bull), the dolphins, the black aquila, and the lion.
These symbols are also found on the coat of arms of Romania and reflect the different regions and historical provinces of the country. The back of the shirt features an eagle print on its nape as a symbol of strength and courage for the Romanian people.
Romania’s 2023/24 Joma away kit is mainly red while the team’s new third shirt is red. The alternate jerseys use the same new Joma notched neck design as the primary kit. They also include the diagonal bands containing the national symbolism.
The Romania men’s senior national team debuted the 2023/24 home uniform during Friday’s UEFA EURO 2024 qualifier against Andorra.
