1. FC Köln 75th Anniversary hummel Kit
German Bundesliga side 1. FC Köln have released a limited edition 75th Anniversary outfield player and goalkeeper kits from hummel. They will be worn when the team meets Eintracht Frankfurt on February 12th – the day before its anniversary.
The 1. FC Köln outfield players will wear the white anniversary jersey in combination with red shorts and red and white ringed socks. The goalkeeper strip is completely black.
The 1. FC Köln 75th Anniversary outfield player kit picks uses numerous elements of the jerseys from the club’s founding era. The material is reminiscent of the cotton shirts of that time via 42% cotton and 58% polyester blend.
Its cuffs are contrasted in muted red, the founding date of 13 February 1948 is embroidered on the outside of the collar in lace look, and five different logos from different FC eras as well as a legendary quote from the first FC Köln president and football visionary Franz Kremer are printed on the inside: “Tradition hat nur dann einen Sinn, wenn der Wille zu noch größeren Taten vorhanden ist” (Tradition only makes sense if there is the will to do even greater deeds.)
The 1. FC Köln crest the late 1980s version is embroidered on the left chest while an all-white hummel logo appears on the right. A synthetic leather patch at the hem includes anniversary details.
