Corinthians 2022/23 Nike Third Kit

Brazil’s Sport Club Corinthians Paulista dropped a Japan-inspired 2022/23 Nike third kit on Thursday.
The cream jersey celebrates the tenth anniversary of Corinthians’ 2012 FIFA World Club Cup title.

The world championship was won on December 16th of that year in a 1-0 win over then UEFA Champions League champions Chelsea FC in Yokohama, Japan.

“Here is Corinthians” is printed vertically in black Japanese text throughout the shirt. A Japanese national flag is placed on the inside back area of its rounded neckline.

The Corinthians crest and Nike Swoosh on the kit are black along with a block on the upper back.

“Ten years ago, Corinthians won some of the biggest titles in its history. We celebrate throughout 2022 the joy they brought to the fans, to the players, and to everyone involved in this 2012 victory that no one in Brazil has repeated. Seeing our third shirt this season with elements that directly refer to the Club World Cup in Japan is very exciting. I am sure that Fiel (Corinthian’s fanbase) will embrace this very special uniform”, commented Corinthians president Duilio Monteiro Alves.
