AS Roma today revealed their 2022/23 New Balance away kit for their upcoming Italian Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Europa League seasons. It will be worn by the I Giallorossi (The Yellow and Reds) first team for Sunday’s pre-season friendly against Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
According to ASR: Following a historic campaign last term, the brand new, all-white jersey takes inspiration from Rome’s neo-classical period – with the neutral tones of the city’s famous architecture providing the backdrop to the design.
The Lupetto – the club’s iconic wolf symbol – appears in a delicate graphic tonal marbling effect integrated into the front of the jersey.
Similar to the home jersey, the words “Figli di Roma” (“Sons of Rome”) are placed on the back of the neck, in tribute to the bond between the city, the team that bears its name, and those who wear the jersey
Additionally, subtle red and yellow trims, paying homage to the iconic colours of the Giallorossi, are added to the collar, shirt sleeves, knitted shorts, and socks.
AS Roma begin their 2022/23 Italian Serie A season at US Salernitana 1919 on August 14 at the Stadio Arechi in Salerno.
