SL Benfica have completed the reveal of their 2022/23 adidas match range with the drop of their new away and third kits.
The popular Portuguese Primeira Liga club will wear yellow away and white third third jerseys for their upcoming domestic and European seasons.
The Benfica 22/23 away kit is inspired by the team’s home of Lisbon and the large network of electricity-powered trams that traverse it. It carries a geometric pattern on its front inspired by Lisbon’s sunsets. An image of a tram is printed on the jersey’s upper back.
Benfica’s 2022/23 third shirt is detailed in the club’s home red via its adidas shoulder stripes, sponsor logos, and neckline trim. A gradient pattern of dark gray dots inspired by Lisbon’s cobblestone streets runs across its front. A print of a section of a street appears on the nape.
SL Benfica return to competitive action today in a UEFA Champions League Third Qualifying Round match against Denmark’s FC Midtjylland.
