ACF Fiorentina will be back in competitive action in August in their Kappa 2022/23 home and away kits. The new jerseys will be worn for I Viola’s (The Purples / The Violets) first UEFA Europa Conference League run along with their Italian Serie A and Coppa Italia seasons.
According to ACF Fiorentina the purple home and white away jerseys take their design inspiration from the geometry of the new Fiorentina crest. They are intended to underscore the club’s identity using elements such as the diamond shape of the badge which emanates from the heart, the V for VIOLA, and the PLAY TO BE DIFFERENT motto.
The Fiorentina 22/23 home and away shirts use Kappa’s latest PRO KOMBAT rounded neck design.
Concentric squares radiate from the club badge in alternating shades of purple on the home kit. They are meant to represent the wearer’s heartbeat and the passion they feel when representing the Viola.
A large purple V is emblazoned on the front of the Fiorentina 2022/23 Kappa away jersey. The club says that the shape echoes its redesigned badge and is a clear nod to Fiorentina’s unmistakably unique purple and the club’s loyal worldwide following.
The new Fiorentina Kappa kits feature Play to be Different printed inside the collar. The motto is a call to arms for those who pull on the jersey, a timely reminder of the energy and commitment required when representing the club, as well as being an acknowledgement of Fiorentina’s pride of being a one-of-a-kind club.
There are also 13 fleur-de-lis designs printed within the shirt collars. They are a tribute to the club’s fans, our 12th man, and Davide Astori, our unforgettable number 13, loved by his team-mates and by every Florentine.
